No League Games Due to Labor Day

I hope everyone is doing great! Ironman 7 on August 25th was a success, a lot of great hard fought games with some new faces. Sectum Sempra, a team from Maryland, dominated the competition and took home the title of champion. Sweet Lou's was in second place, losing to Sectum Sempra. Team A1 finished out the podium with third place. Great fun to all who was there, keep on coming back to see when the next Ironman Tournament is.

No House League 8/25/13

Due to the Iron Man Tournament (come out and play) there are no house league games this Sunday. Statistics are posted under the Rosters and Statistics page, please let me know if you have any issues viewing the stat spreadsheet.

If you do not have a team for the Iron Man Tournament, please contact Louis DeSimini, I am sure he will be able to do something with you. The more the merrier, do not let yourself get in the way of having a great time playing hockey!

Great games this Sunday, game one featured Lou's Detail versus Team Legends. It was back and forth all game with a lot of scoring. Lou's Detail had the lead with 15 seconds left to go when Gaige Trice scored to tie the game and take it into overtime. Lou's Detail came out hard and within 45 seconds Scotty Lamond earned the game winning goal.

The second game featured Downtown Salon versus Lou's Detail. After leaving everything out on the floor in the first game, Lou's Detail struggled to keep up the pace that Downtown Salon was setting. They battled back mightily but their exhaustion was clear to see. Downtown Salon kept Lou's Detail trapped in their own zone for the majority of the game. Lou's Detail worked as hard as they could but lost in regulation.

Down Town Salon (purple) is going to be short a few people this week so if anyone wants to stay over and play, it is encouraged. (Especially those who drive long distances.)

All penalties result in a penalty shot
8 Goal mercy rule enforced
All ties go into sudden death
All teams guaranteed AT LEAST 3 games
Cost: $34 per player/$170 per team
Prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams
